BSCNZ are pleased to announce an Industry Partnership with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). This collaboration is a significant step toward enhancing support for members, while providing a platform to share relevant information on MSD programs.

1. Flexi-Wage:

• Purpose: Flexi-Wage assists employers in hiring staff while ensuring they acquire the necessary skills for the job.  The flexi wage is now available for eligible part and full time employees
• How It Works:
• Employ an eligible MSD candidate
• Employers receive a wage contribution from MSD.
• Employees benefit from training and ongoing support.
• The job must continue even after the Flexi-Wage period ends.
• Benefits for Employers:
• Financial support during the initial employment phase, the level of support may vary depending on the employees eligibility criteria.
• Reduced risk in hiring and training new staff.
